Now let’s see. I’ve been buying the chicken broth with herbs because it allows me to make a super easy rice side dish. However, the ten cent difference is rather annoying so I think I will just use my own spices and try to recreate the flavor. The grated parmesan was definitely a treat! This stuff does last me a while and tastes great on pasta and popcorn. I bought a lot more meat this time than I usually do. I used one of the ground beefs already for sloppy joe’s, but froze the rest. I’ve been experimenting a lot more with meat recipes, so I wanted to stock up a little. I also stocked up on canned tomatoes so I can make another sauce sometime soon. The more stocked my pantry is, the more likely I’m going to feel like cooking when I’m pinched for time.

As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t use coupons so this list isn’t to show off all the awesome sales I found at the store, but just to show my eating habits and to detail exactly how much I spend on groceries in a month and where that money goes.
